Welcome!
You forgot why you came here
...didn't you?
I'm on a mission to create educational mental health content that's easy to understand and, more importantly, not boring. On my website, you'll find survey data, blogs, resource links, and more. As of November 2024, I'm still primarily focused on ADHD awareness, education, and advocacy. But as my new URL suggests—What in the Brain?—I hope to expand to even more mental health topics in the future.
When you learn about your brain and understand how it works, you become more self-aware. And self-awareness is the the first step in any journey you choose to take, whether it's for information, condition management, or self-advocacy.
I sincerely hope that my content brings you knowledge, comfort, a few smiles, and the general sense that you're not alone, and you never have to feel that way again.

Take my RSD Quiz!
Originally designed in 2021, my just-for-fun quiz on rejection sensitive dysphoria can help ADHDers understand their sensitivities to social rejection, criticism, embarrassment, and judgment. The quiz includes questions about childhood, people-pleasing, self-esteem, social anxiety, and other factors involved in developing RSD.
Please note that this is not meant to act as a diagnosis, nor is it supposed to substitute any form of treatment or advice you may be receiving from a mental health professional.
What to know
YouTube was where I got started. My first video was a powerpoint presentation on how dopamine works, and when people told me I had a knack for explaining complex topics, something clicked. I was in grad school at the time, and wanted something fun to do when I wasn't working on my thesis. Eventually, I started exploring different types of videos, like talking head (speaking to the camera) and animation.

While I doubt that I'll ever consistently post videos like other ADHD channels, I can say with confidence that what I have to offer is high quality. When I'm planning out a video, I always my audience and try to make them as engaging as possible for ADHD brains.

My topics usually come from my own lived experiences or curiosities, but I always welcome suggestions and ideas!
