Welcome!
You forgot why you came here
...didn't you?
I'm on a mission to create educational mental health content that's easy to understand and, more importantly, not boring. I have survey data, blogs, resource links, and more. I'm primarily focused on ADHD awareness, education, and advocacy. But as my URL suggests—What in the Brain?—I hope to expand to more mental health topics in the future.
Learning about your brain and how it works will help you become more self-aware. And self-awareness is the first step in any mental health journey, whether it's for information, condition management, or self-advocacy.
I sincerely hope that my content brings you knowledge, a few smiles, and the feeling that you're not alone in this big crazy world.

Take my RSD Quiz!
Originally made in 2021, my just-for-fun quiz on rejection sensitive dysphoria helps ADHDers understand their sensitivities to social rejection, criticism, embarrassment, and judgment. The quiz has questions on childhood, people-pleasing, self-esteem, anxiety, and other factors that can contribute to RSD.
Please note: this is not to be used as a diagnostic tool or a substitute for treatment or advice you may receive from a doctor.
I'm on YouTube!
YouTube was where I started, with my first video being a simple powerpoint about dopamine. Others told me I had a knack for explaining complex topics, and that's when it clicked: I can do something with this. At the time, I was a grad student and wanted something fun to do when I wasn't writing my thesis. The rest is history.
I doubt I'll ever be as consistent as other ADHD channels, but I can say with confidence that what I have to offer is quality. When planning a video, I follow two rules: (1) Make them engaging for ADHD brains; (2) No sell-outs. (i.e., quality over quantity.)
My topics mostly come from my own lived experiences or curiosities, but I always welcome suggestions and ideas! Send me an email if you're looking for content on a specific ADHD-related topic and I'll try my best to make it happen.
